'Nine Steps to Embedding a TCF Culture' |
|
Financial services firms regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) will be fully aware that
- FSA is expecting firms to embed TCF into their core culture,
- Firms have until December 2008 to demonstrate it’s happening, and
- FSA has devised a TCF “Culture Framework” to test whether that is true.
Intouch has helped a number of firms understand the Framework and how it will be applied by FSA. In most cases we have trained some of their people to apply the Framework internally
We are delighted to be able to share our expertise in several ways. For example,
- Running a half day session for Directors and Senior Executives on
- The FSA approach to measuring how embedded TCF is in your firm
- How prepared is your business function? More detail
- Training an internal team in how to apply the cultural framework in conducting TCF reviews (much as we have done with FSA supervisors) and then working with the team in a “slice” of the business to conduct a TCF review More detail
- Or alternatively, conducting a full TCF “cultural” review of the organisation More detail
- We can also run a one-day workshop on using management information to monitor TCF. (The deadline for having suitable MI is even sooner – March 2008.) More detail
We would welcome the opportunity to meet firms and share some of our experiences in working with FSA and others on this subject.
